Never Mind...Just pack your luggage and move to Narnaul ...because I love my country...

Dear All

You will be surprised to see why I am updating my blog within a month. Just to make you aware, that I have got transferred from Kaithal to Mahendregarh and I have just joined here as ADC.

Everyone asked me why I was transferred so soon. But, I really, don't know till date. I really have no reason to tell as within 10 days, its even possible to understand a district, leave alone the probability of having an altercation with someone but probably this is the irony of the set up. Many aspirants mail me and ask me whether I should prepare for civils or not because people get transferred so frequently and so much political pressure is there. But, to them, my reply is it is the reality of the day, I can not deny it but transfers are bound to happen.

The main catalyst that gives you the zeal and energy to start and during preparation for civils is your love for your country. I have earlier written somewhere in my blog that while preparing if you find something difficult, then remember the hardships faced by our freedom fighters, the revolutionaries like Azad, Bismil, Ashfaqullah, Bhagat Singh, Kartar Singh Sarabha, Pingley, Sukhdev,  Udham Singh and countless others and who fought with weapon of passive resistance like M.K. Gandhi, Patel, Rajendra Prasad and others, they have faced so many hardships that our generation can not even imagine. We have got all the comforts of life, mobiles, transport, internet, social networking etc, but at that time there was nothing but still there was a zeal and an enthusiasm to see the mother India a free nation. Always remember the lines "Des Mere, Des Mere, Meri Jaan Hai Tu".

Lets  not think of  not preparing for civils just because of transfers or political pressures but let us start the preparation because we can and we will one day, be able to make our country free from the problems its facing right now. Its not possible to clean a dirty pond without entering into it. Better not to restrict ourselves to just discussions over a cup of tea to conclude that "is desh ka kuch nahi ho sakta" but instead as told in rang de basanti " Zindagi jine ka do hi tarike hote hain, jo ho raha ho, hone do, hame kya ya doosra traika, beeda uthao, kuch karne ka aur use badalne ka". Let us take the charge, let us prepare for civils. This country needs honest officers. Without honest officers coming and taking charge of the system, the people to whom we call social workers and Baba's, will take away everything from our motherland. Already, they have looted the land in last 60 years much more than what the Britishers looted in 200 years. Lets prepare for UPSC to save India, lets be honest officers.

May Waheguru g make U an IAS officer.

From Ellenabad To Kaithal

Dear All

You will be glad to know that I have got promoted as ADC Kaithal. I have just joined 2 days back. There is huge difference between SDM job and ADC job. Now, I am learning my new job.

About Ellenabad, I have very fond memories. It was enriching experience to work under Dr. J. Ganesan, IAS, DC Sirsa from whom I learnt a lot. I did many new things and got success in most of my experiments to bring transparency in administration. It was a great place where there was no political interference and all the decisions I have taken were appreciated by my seniors and also, by the public at large. People of Ellenabad were also very nice and cordial. Subordinate staff was also hardworking. Also, Ellenabad provided me an opportunity to develop my badminton skills, as there were many good players who were always there in the ground daily playing badminton with me. It seems a thing of just yesterday when I joined at Ellenabad as SDM. With the blessings of Waheguru ji, my tenure as SDM was full of new beginnings for Ellenabad.  I have got many experiences which I will definitely share with all of you at some point of life. Needless to say, this para of this article contains self praise and nothing else.  :)

My congrats to all those who qualified prelims. Now, the challenge is bigger and harder as compared to previous years because of syllabus and pattern change. Give due emphasis on the topics newly included. Also, writing practice is very important. Always remember not to leave any question of common papers. Do write whatever little is known to you but also don't write anything frivolous, do stick to the topic. Just study, study and study. Don't even thinking of wasting a single minute. Don't think its day or night. Just give your best. Also, never forget to make a plan before study. A good strategy is must to win this battle. And probably this time its not battle but war because of pattern change. My best wishes to all of you.

I am always here with you to guide you. Keep Writing. I assure you to respond you within 24 hours.

May Waheguru G make you an IAS officer....

And the life goes on....

Dear All

I am writing something after a long time. Just that I got busy here at Ellenabad.
For the aspirants, I wish them luck. Now, the interview sessions are about to end. With in days, UPSC will make someone new king.
Now that UPSC has made many changes to the pattern. I find that new pattern will be more competitive and difficult because GS marks have got an increase. Further, only one optional need to be prepared. So, one can easily choose an optional of his/her choice and prepare it. But now the preparation will go much above the PG level.

And with increase of GS weightage, I find my earlier written pages on how to prepare GS for mains will become more useful. As everyone has to write the same GS paper, I think one must be able to write comprehensively different from the other in order to get good marks from paper checker. Because, undoubtedly, answers of all serious candidates will be more or less the same for GS. Its only who writes in a different manner will make a difference.

About Punjabi literature notes, I have got a lot of mails not only from my friends from Punjab and also from Ellenabad itself. So, I have put all my punjabi notes at E-library Ellenabad. One can get it from here.

I wish a very Happy Vaisakhi, Ugadi, Gudi padwa, Bihu...
My Best Wishes,
May Waheguru G make U An IAS Officer....

Punjabi 10 Year Papers and Notes

Dear All
I have scanned previous 10 year papers and also, notes of my senior and guide Sh. Varinder Sharma (Punjab Cadre 2009 batch IAS Officer). I must say that my writing style of Punjabi papers was inspired to a large extent by Varinder Sir notes.
He has written all his papers (Inc. GS, Essay and other optional) in Punjabi Language. His writing is very impressive and easy to understand. His word vocabulary is great.
Besides, he is a mentor and guide to me. I feel proud in sharing his notes as well.

I have started e-mailing the notes (total 66MB), but it will be good if someone suggests me a good pdf sharing site and procedure to share. I have received a lot of complaints of uploading.com, so kindly suggest a good one.

Thanks and keep sending your e-mails so that I can send you notes.

My Notes of GS, Physics and Chemistry

Dear All

I have placed some of my valuable notes at Punjabi Bhawan Library, Ludhiana. These contain my handwritten GS notes, Physics notes and Chemistry notes. The notes of chemistry are too good and I feel must for all opting for it. I am in process of scanning a few more punjabi notes and 10 year papers, which I will start e-mailing to the aspirants soon.

In my next visit to Ludhiana, I shall place some of my Punjabi notes in Punjabi Bhavan Library. Maximum of them were prepared in that Library only.

I wish a very bright, beautiful and a very prosperous New Year to All my friends and aspirants.
